YeBum-The Vampire and The Werewolf chap.5

"Why are you still in that vampire's house?"  


Yesung woke up to a werewolf's voice.  His room was practically at the second floor but since the place was very quiet, he could hear the conversation outside the window between the two werewolves by the house's doorstep.


"This was once my house too."  Kibum retorted.  "And he used to be my brother."  This time Kibum had a softer and sadder tone of voice.  "He's dying because I bit him but he doesn't hate me at all and wants me to stay by his side."


"He might be tricking you.  Telling you to stay by his side when he's actually contacting other vampires.  Then they'll come and kill you or maybe torture you to tell them where the wolf pack is."  From what Yesung could hear, he could sense that this werewolf has a lot of hatred towards vampires.


"No.  I trust him.  I knew him all my life."


"But he lied to you all your life."


Kibum clenched his fists.  The other werewolf did have a point.  "Just please let me stay by his side until he dies."


"If you don't return to the pack by tomorrow, Kibum, you're not welcomed anymore."  That's all the werewolf had to say before leaving.


Kibum went back inside the house only to find out that Yesung no longer in bed.  In fact, he was standing in the living room.  "You lied to him."  Yesung said softly as they both knew that Yesung had been completely healthy for quite sometime now.


"They're vampire haters."  Kibum stated a fact that Yesung was already completely aware of.  "They'll kill you if they know you're alive.  I'm going to return to them tomorrow so you better leave this city while you still have a chance."


"Why don't you leave with me? You could find another wolf pack.  Those that aren't completely vampire haters.  A peace-loving wolf pack."  Yesung tried to suggest merrily.


"I was born from my parents who are vampire haters.  If they're alive right now, I would have probably been a vampire hater and then I met werewolves for the first time who are all vampire haters.  I think I'm meant to be a vampire hater myself."  Kibum truly felt it was his destiny but he also felt that it was somehow wrong.  "You shouldn't have raised me.  You know it's wrong for us to be together."


"It's not wrong, Kibum."  Yesung corrected the younger one.  "It's just not accepted by most vampires and werewolves but it doesn't mean it's wrong.  That's like saying it's wrong to love someone."


"I hate you for making me confuse."  Kibum sighed and sat down on the couch.


"I knew that there would be a lot of vampires and werewolves that would be against us.  That's why I decided to keep your true identity a secret."  Yesung kneeled on one knee in front of Kibum.  "The moment I had you in my arms.  I decided to stand against all odds to be with you.  I'm going to do everything to make you happy and live comfortably."  His hand reached out to touch Kibum's cheek.  "I thought you would need me but it turned out that I'm the one who needs you and it's sad that you don't feel the same way as I do."  He dropped his hand to his side and stood up.  "I'll go pack my things."  He returned to the bedroom.

When Yesung woke up the next time, he couldn't find Kibum in the house.  He assumed that Kibum probably left already to return to the wolf pack.  With a heavy heart, Yesung took his bags and shed a tear before leaving the house.  He took the cab and watched the house getting further and further away until he could no longer see it.  He allowed another tear to escape from his eye.


Yesung didn't really have any destination in mind so he simply said "Give me any ticket avaible for the next flight."


"Make that two."  


Yesung turned his head around the owner of the voice which he was very familiar with.  "Kibum?"


Kibum had his own bags with him.  "I'm coming with you, hyung."  Yesung never thought he would hear Kibum calling him hyung or see Kibum smiling at him again.


Since Yesung was busy ogling at him, Kibum took the tickets and paid for it.  "If you don't start walking, hyung, I'm going to leave you behind."


"What about the wolf pack?"  Yesung asked as he and Kibum made themselves comfortable at the waiting lounge.


"After what you said to me yesterday, hyung, why would I chose to be with a bunch of strangers than someone who I had been with all my life and would love me unconditionally?"  Kibum reached out and squeezed the vampire's hand.  "I was miserable without you, hyung, but I kept telling to myself that being with the werewolves is where I truly belong but it never felt that way.  It's by your side where I truly belong."


At that moment, Yesung was tempted to kiss him.  Not just a friendly, good natured kiss on the cheek but a real kiss on the lips but Yesung had to hold back his real feelings.  Things just started to become good in between them and Yesung wouldn't want to ruin it too soon by confessing about his real feelings... it has been quite sometime now that his feelings for Kibum had grown into something more than just brotherly love.

A/N: So you finally get to see Yesung's real feelings here and Yesung being alive of course~ One more chapter to go. Will it be a happy ending for both or only for one of them? Or maybe it'll be angst for both... hmm... we'll see... Comments please?
