Three days later, Kyuhyun finally showed up at school.  It only took one look at Kyuhyun to know that Sungmin is still in coma, because Kyuhyun still looked pretty much terrible and out of it.  It was clear that he was only forced to come to school.  He got scolded by the teachers for not focusing in class but Kyuhyun really couldn't care less about what happens in his lessons. His body may be present in the classroom, but his mind is still in the hospital with Sungmin.


Zhoumi told himself not to care about how pale and thin Kyuhyun had become in a span of 3 days.  The bruise at the side of his left eye, which was luckily covered by his hair, reminded him how much Kyuhyun hated him.  He should stay away but he had a strong urge to talk.  


"You look much worse than Sungmin.  You should get admitted in the hospital with a room right next to his or would you prefer your bed to be in the same room as Sungmin's?"


Despite Kyuhyun's weak state, he was able to deliver a strong punch to Zhoumi's abdomen.  Zhoumi never fought with anyone before so he didn't fight back as more punches were delivered to him. He didn't mind being Kyuhyun's punching bag if it helps Kyuhyun release his pent up emotions.  The physical pain at least makes Zhoumi forget about the pain in his heart. Temporarily.


Zhoumi ended up in the school clinic, while Kyuhyun ended up in detention.

Even after the bruises he received, Zhoumi just had to open his mouth again.  "If Sungmin dies, are you going to commit suicide?"


Kyuhyun balled his fists in anger.  "Sungmin is not going to die."


"But what if he does?"  That question got Zhoumi another punch from Kyuhyun.


"I hate you."  Kyuhyun hissed.


"I know."  Zhoumi said all knowingly, wincing from pain.  He was going to have a new bruise.

It was raining hard late at night so Zhoumi never expected to have a visitor; much less for the visitor to be Kyuhyun, soaked from the rain.  "Sungmin's parents said that if Sungmin doesn't wake up before the month ends, they're going to pull the plug."


"I don't need to know about this, Kyuhyun.  Tell it to somebody who cares."  Zhoumi was about to close the door, only for it to be opened much wider as Kyuhyun used some force.


"You care because you love me and I need.... somebody right now."


"It was just a silly crush, Kyuhyun.  I don't love you.  Go look for somebody else."  This time Zhoumi successfully closed the door shut and locked it.  As much as he wanted to comfort Kyuhyun, it woudn't be fair to himself.  Kyuhyun may be hurting, but he was hurting on his own too.  If Kyuhyun gets comfort from him, then who will give comfort to Zhoumi?  Certainly not Kyuhyun.
