KyuHae-The Vampire and The Warlock Ch.5

"Must you date with a lot of guys?  Can't you just stick with one?"  Kyuhyun asked Heechul.  They were currently in the student council office alone together.  Heechul was after all the secretary of the student council.


"You know how little boys likes to have their collection of car toys and how little girls like to have their collection of dolls. Well, I'd like to have my collection of guys.  There's a saying the more the merrier."  Heechul chuckled.  "Why suddenly bring that subject up anyway? Wait... let me guess.  You must be jealous that someone you like happens to like me.  Am I dating him right now?"


"You're so full of yourself, Heechul."  Kyuhyun busied himself with his calculations, doing his job as the treasurer of the student council.  "I'm just concern about someone but I don't like him that way."


Heechul snorted in disbelief.  "I'm an expert in this stuff, Kyuhyun, and I say you're denying."

Krystal had been waiting for Kyuhyun to get out of school because she needed to talk to him.  "You sided with the vampire."


"Your sister has a spell book that contains a lot of information on how to kill or make a vampire suffer.  She's a vampire hater.  I'm pretty sure Donghae wouldn't have approached her if he knew that she's a vampire hater.  I'm assuming that Donghae only tried to ask for her help but she decided to just go ahead and try to kill him."  Kyuhyun explained.  "And knowing Donghae, he's not the type to run away.  I'm sure he decided to fight with your sister and kill her because killing always seems to be teh solution for him."


"Knowing that he's a killer yet you still sided with him."  Krystal pointed out.  She wasn't happy that she failed on killing the vampire and she was disappointed that the warlock sided with the vampire.


"He changed my life.  He threatened to kill my family and he's annoying with his nightly visits and attitude but I can see that he's in love with Heechul and that he wanted to be loved back too.  I'm sure he has a good side in him and I want to give him a chance to be good.  Can't you give him the chance too?"  Kyuhyun placed his hand on Kystal's shoulder.


But it wasn't just a simple body contact, Kyuhyun was channeling his feelings and sincerity towards Krystal, who felt and believed the warlock.  "Tell the vampire to come to my sister's grave tonight.  If I deemed him good enough, I'll let him live.  If not, I'll try to kill him again and if you interfere, I might end up hurting you badly.  Just hope it won't be bad enough to kill you."

Donghae brought flowers and candles to the grave.  "I'm not doing this to impress you and technically, the flowers and candles are Kyuhyun's idea."


Kyrstal raised an eyebrow.  "At least you're being honest."


"I don't regret killing your sister but I am sorry for your loss."  Donghae kneeled with both of his knees on the ground in front of Krystal.  "I will accept punishment but please don't kill me."

"So I assume things went well between you and Krystal?"  Kyuhyun asked as soon as Donghae entered in his bedroom.


"Sort of."  Donghae avoided Kyuhyun's gaze.  "I came to say goodbye."


"Why? What happened?"


"Krystal gave me a punishment that I won't be able to see the sun for the next 100 years even if someone makes me  a daylight spell.  If I die within the next 100 years, I guess I'll never see the sun."  Donghae sighed.  "So I came to say goodbye since you won't be able to help me anymore."


Kyuhyun tried to look for a reason for Donghae to stay.  "What about Heechul?  Don't you love him?"


"He's just another reason why I should leave this city.  He doesn't love me and having a relationship with a human is rather complicated anyway."


"What about me?"  Kyuhyun's hand touched Donghae's arm.  His emotions went through Donghae.  It felt like an electric shock except it doesn't hurt.  Kyuhyun's feelings flowed freely inside Donghae.  The anger, the frustratation, the care, the sincerity and the love.  "I guess this won't be of any use for you in the next 100 years but I still want you to have this."  Kyuhyun inserted a ring on Donghae's finger.


"You finished the daylight spell?"  Donghae asked, feeling emotional.  If only Kyuhyun had finished it earlier...


"I'm sorry I was too late."  Kyuhyun hugged the vampire, who was now crying hard.
