Hitch A Ride - WonTeuk

Eeteuk panicked because he lost his bundle of keys. He had a total of 7 keys. One for the car, one for the gate, two for his house (front door and back door), one for his bedroom, one for his diary and one for his treasure box (where his diary and other previous stuff were kept inside).

"Don't you have any spare keys?" His friend, Sungmin, asked.

"I do but it's in the house which means I have to take a taxi, climb over the wall and break the window like a thief just to get inside my house and get those spare keys then get a taxi again so I could get my car and drive back home." Eeteuk headbanged himself on the wall.

"You might as well not have any spare keys since they don't seem to be at use at all." Sungmin shrugged. "I would offer you a ride but I still have classes which starts in... " He took a quick glance at his wristwatch. "5 minutes. I gotta go!!!" He made a quick dash down the hallway.
Eeteuk sighed. He took out his cellphone because he planned to call his other friend, Yesung, who could maybe give him a ride. But it turns out that he didn't need to because...

"I can give you a ride." Somebody offered Eeteuk a ride.

Eeteuk just didn't expect that somebody to be his crush named Siwon. "I-it's okay. You don't have to."

"Are you sure? I didn't mean to eavesdrop but from what I heard, sounds like you needed one. Besides, I'm not busy or in a hurry to go home today so I can give you a ride." Siwon smiled.

"Okay, thanks." Eeteuk agreed and hoped he wouldn't die because his heart was beating really fast and it felt like exploding.

"Are you always this helpful to other people?" Eeteuk asked once they were inside Siwon's car.

"I offer them a ride from time to time." Siwon replied.

"Oh." Eeteuk was disappointed. He wasn't really anybody special. Just one of those people Siwon decided to help out. But then again, that's one of the traits that Eeteuk liked in Siwon.

"But only if they wanted to be dropped off along the way to my destination. Like for example I had to go to the mall and they just wanted to be dropped off in a restaurant which is 4 blocks away before the mall. Another would be if I decided to go straight home and they wanted to be dropped off at the park that I always passed by." Siwon explained.

"I see so where are you headed after dropping me off?"

"I'm not dropping you off."

"What?"

"I didn't offer you a ride today just because your house is conveniently along the way to my destination. My destination today is your house."

"Oh." But this time, it wasn't a disappointed tone. He actually had his hopes up that perhaps, he might be a bit special to Siwon.

Eeteuk was very glad that Siwon was there to help him because he wouldn't have any idea how to climb the wall alone. Siwon lifted him so Eeteuk could reach the top of the wall, jump to the other side and open the gate for Siwon to enter. The next problem would be entering his house.

He didn't want to break the window because it'll be expensive to fix but if he doesn't have any other choice, he might really just break the window, face his parents' anger and a big loss on his savings account. But then, he saw Siwon kneeling in front of the door knob and picking the lock... successfully.

Eeteuk gaped. "You knew how to pick a lock? Why didn't you just do that on the gate?"

"I didn't want to miss the oppurtunity to do skinship with you." Siwon winked before opening the door wider and entering Eeteuk's house.
Eeteuk blushed as he remembered how Siwon easily lifted him by the waist and even gave his butt a little push so Eeteuk could easily climb over the wall.

Eeteuk swore that he kept his spare keys in one of the cabinets in his room but he really couldn't find it.

"Here." Siwon threw a bundle of keys to Eeteuk.

Out of reflex, Eeteuk caught the bundle of keys. "Where'd you find it?" He took a closer look at the bundle of keys.

"I wanted to spend more time with you so I didn't say anything about finding the keys." Siwon smiled so handsomely that Eeteuk can't find myself to be angry at him. "So you need a ride back to school right?"

"Yeah."

Siwon parked his car right next to Eeteuk's car at school.

"I don't know if I should thank you for everything since it was you who stole my keys in the first place." Eeteuk said wryly. "But it was fun being with you."

"Now that I know where you live, can I drive you to school tomorrow morning?" Siwon asked cheekily.

"Only if you drive me home in the afternoon."

"Sure, I can do that."

It became their daily routine. Eeteuk even took out his car key from the bundle and kept it in his cabinet together with his spare keys because he doesn't seem to be using his car anymore. It became a huge gossip in school that they were going out. Some hated and envied Eeteuk.

"Who do you think you are to be riding in Siwon's car every morning and afternoon for the entire week?!?! I refuse to think that someone like you is his boyfriend!!!" The popular blonde bitch spat out.

Eeteuk thought that a group of mean girls are actually scarier than a group of bullies. "Uh... Siwon and I are just friends."

"Well, I am his girlfriend and yet, he refuses to drive me home. I bet you're seducing him behind my back!!!" A brunette accused Eeteuk.

"We may have been dating but I never asked you to become my girlfriend. We don't have any official relationship." Siwon glared at the girl.

"The only reason I dated you was because I lost a bet against your brother. That's all there is to it."

The girl seem heartbroken and embarassed. She ran away with tears streaming down on her cheeks. Her friends ran after her.

"I didn't think you were actually capable of being mean." Eeteuk voiced out.

"I just got so mad after seeing them bully you. I wasn't able to keep my emotions in check." Siwon turned to look at Eeteuk.  "And if there's anyone I wanted to date with, it's not her, it's you."

Eeteuk's eyes widened and blush started to form on his cheeks at Siwon's confession.

"There's a gossip about us being a couple but I would really like it if it wasn't just a gossip. Will you go out with me?"

Eeteuk had always daydreamed about Siwon confessing to him. He always had very corny and romantic imaginations. The reality didn't live up to Eeteuk's imagination. In reality, Siwon had a sincere yet nervous tone of voice and his face which always showed confidence was currently half filled with worry and shyness.

"I'd love to." Eeteuk replied. He'd prefer a straightforward reality than a corny, romantic daydream. Besides, there'll be more chances for Siwon to show his romantic side when they go on dates.
